Rangers were still in the game after 50 minutes just trailing by 2-1 after Jack Bryant successfully converted a penalty but I am afraid it was downhill after that as Tiverton showed their quality and class as the game wore on with the score finally 10-1.
After the game Clive said “I don’t think that I have ever lost a game by that margin before, just glad that it was a friendly. For the first hour I thought we competed OK but we threw on several lads for the last half hour to give them a glimpse of what football is like at this level and to be honest it was a real struggle for them but hopefully thay will have learnt something from the experience. I like to wish Tivvy all the best for the coming season and Scott and Dodge look to have put together a really good squad.”
