Rangers got back to winning ways with a hard earned 2-1 victory at Helston. Rangers gave a debut to Will Richards who played wide on the left and he produced a match winning performance with a hand in the first goal when his cross was helped into his own net by a Helston defender and then he grabbed the winner with twenty minutes to go when his angled shot from 15 yards found the bottom corner.
The game was played in horrendous conditions caused by a biting Easterly gale blowing straight down the pitch. Rangers defended into the win in the first half and despite the elements being against them they carved out the better chances with Brandon Parsons having a shot well saved and Tom Beddow and Dan Baily also going close. With a 1-0 lead at half time you would have thought it would have been plain sailing in the second half but the home team grabbed an equaliser on the half hour against the run of play but it only took us 10 minutes to resore our lead although it needed a smart save from Adam in goal to maintain our lead and then make the long journey home with a valuable three points in the bag.
Team: Seedhouse-Evans, Riggs, Ansell, Beech, Reed, Langabeer, Richards, Greening, Beddow, Baily, Parsons( Pinnick 80 mins).
