Saltash finally wore Rangers down to earn a 4-1 victory afer the home side took the lead on 20 minutes whne Danny Baily weaved some of his magic down the right flank before crossing for Lee Riggs to force home. Then just when it looked like we were goning to go in at half time with a 1-0 lead the game swung dramatically when the referee contoversially awarded the visitors a penalty when it looked like Lloyd had made contact with the ball and not the man, it was certainly no worse than the foul on Lee Riggs in the first minute which went unpunished. With Rangers still licking their wounds following the equaliser the prolific Ryan Richrads rifled home a shot from the edge of the box to give Saltash a 2-1 half time lead.
The second period was hard for our lads who were playing their third game in six days. They kept battling though until the end but could not prevent Saltash grabbing two more goals.
The boys will be back in action at Edenvale Park again this saturday when ST Austell are the visitors.
