Rangers came back from a goal down on Saturday against a very talented Alphington side superbly marshalled by Mark “Wacker” Sanders, the ex Tivvy stalwart.
Jamie Mudge gave the visitors the lead on the half hour before Langers popped up with an equaliser on the stroke of half time. Ollie Aplin grabbed a brace in the second half and skipper Ethan Phillips also got on the score sheet.
This was a realyy good work out for all of our lads although we were missing a few. It was great to see Simon Hill have 30 mins after injuring his knee in training.
The next test is against Western League Bishops Lydeard who play us on Tuesday night at Edenvale Park kicking off at 7.30pm.
You will be able to see our new Reserve team on Wednesday when they play Exmouth Spartans, kicking off at 7pm. They will be looking to make it four wins on the bounce.
