Rangers must be left wandering how they did not manage to find the back of the net against a spirited Braunton side on Saturday. We managed to hit the frame of the goal no fewer than 4 times but the ball just would not go in. Bad luck and a combination of fine goalkeeping and resolute defending meant that Rangers have still to score from open play in their five pre season friendlies, a worrying statistic for Clive, but as he quite rightly says “you don’t earn points from friendlies!”
