Rangers will be kicking themselves for sqaundering three late chances which would surely have seen them get the three points against a very good and well organised Helston team.
The visitors were soon ahead when Hugh Howlett was left unmarked at the back post to head home. We were soon back on level terms when Marcus Fanson crossed for Beds to score from close range. Ten minutes later a great bit of skill from Dan Baily resulted in him being brought down in the box and up steppe Beds to put the home team in front. He could have got a hat trick only minutes later but his close range effort came back off the post.
The second half started badly as Helston equalised from a corner which Greeno managed to divert into his own net. Although the visitors were enjoying plenty of possession they were always vulnerable to the pacey counter attacks of Rangers and Twinnie, Harvey and new signing Ollie Aplin all had chances to wrap up the game but unfortunately it was not to be and the game ended all sqaure which was probably a fair result on the day.
Team: Whatley, Orchard, Reed, Hill, Beech, Langabeer, Newman(Matthew Fanson 75 mins), Beddow, Marcus Fanson, Baily(Aplin 75 mins), Grening.
