Rangers were missing Conor Bryant, Josh Baxter, George Painter and Reece Conroy for this middle of the table clash with Torrington. Into the starting line up came Josh Pearson, Tom Hawkings and Aiden Horne.
Manager Clive Jones felt that it was two points dropped at a windswept Torrington. “I thought we should have gone in 4-1 up after having the elements in our favour but once again we paid the price for missing guilt edged chances and then we had Luke to thank for an excellent save as half time approached. The second half was a battle as both teams tried to cope with the howling gale and a difficult playing surface so in the end I guess that a draw was a fair result. I must say well done to Torrington for getting the game on after the storm blew the roof of the stand leaving the ground staff with the difficult task of clearing all of the debris off the piotch.
