Rangers put in a top drawer performance against Plymouth Argyle at Coach Road on Monday night. It did not look good for the visitors when we went behind after only five minutes and it looked like being a long evening but once we got into our stride and got the stiffness out of our bones having played on Saturday we went on to create the better chances in the first half with Jordan Ford and dan Baily both going just wide but it was deep into added time when the impressive Marcus Fanson disposessed the Argyle full back and raced clear to equalise.
Rangers took the game to Argyle in the second period and deservedly took the lead when we awarded a free kick on the edge of the box. With everyone, including the supporters expecting Greeno to shoot, he fed in Marcus Fanson whose dangerous cross was helped into his own net by a defender. Ten minutes later and it was 3-1 thnaks to an individual effort from the hard working Bailo and game over.
Team: Seedhouse-Evans, Brad Riggs, Beech, Ford, Donahue, Greening, Langabeer(Plackett 80mins), Marcus Fanson, Lee Riggs(Hillier 70 mins), Parsons, Baily.
