Rangers were able to record a 4-1 win against Alphington on Tuesday night. A brace from Danny Baily and goals from Jack Bryant and Mike Humphries gave the home side a lift after the previous disappointing results. Clive was happier with the performance but was first to admit that we are not yet the finished article and that he still trying hard to strengthen his squad.
Rangers took the lead on the half hour when a Joe Chamberlain corner was not cleared and first to react was Danny Baily who lashed the ball home from close range. This goal was soon followed by a second when an inch perfect cross from Chamberlain was headed home by Jack Bryant. Just before half time Mike Humphries was on hand to head home from another Chamberlain corner.
Both sides made several changes in the second half as the game became scrappy. Bailo got his second on the hour before Alphington deservedly clawed a goal back in the closing stages of the game.
