Saturday saw the first team grind out a 3-2 win at Ivybridge but unfortunately the Reserves lost their top of the table clash with Lapford 4-2.
Goals from Marcus Fanson and a brace from Greeno were enough to secure the three points at Ivybridge. We went behind to a penalty but equalised when Greeno scored after Marcus Fanson’s effort had come back off the inside of the post. A solo effort from Marcus put us ahead but an unchacteristic slip from Brad Riggs led to a Bridgers equaliser before we were awarded a penalty five minutes from time which Greeno gleefully slammed home.
The reserves led 2-1 in the first half courtesy of goals from James Bedford and Dan Horler but unfortunately silly defensive errors contributed to a 4-2 defeat resulting in Rangers forfeiting top spot to the visitors.
