Hedley was pleased with the three points against Witheridge on Saturday which saw the club move up two places in the league to 11th with games in hand on all of the teams above us.
“The result was what we deserved although the performance was not as great as it might have been but we can put that down to the pitch conditions. Fair play to the home team they did really well to get the game on but the surface soon cut up and passing football was almost impossible. It was a battle and I was pleased, given that we were missing three regulars through suspension, that we came away with three points having dominated the game for long periods. The down side was that it looks like we have lost Danny Baily for a few weeks with his troublesome knee causing him to be replaced on the hour after scoring the two goals.”
