Rangers looked on course for victory as they led Witheridge 2-0 at half time although, if we had taken our chances, the game would have been beyond the home team by then. Marcus Fanson stroked the ball home on 19 minutes and then stand in striker Beechy doubled the lead just before half time. But the home side fought back and levelled through two strikes from ex Rangers Bradley Kelly, the second being a penalty. When Beechy notched his second we seemed to be heading for a badly needed victory but then, deep into injury time he was adjudged to have deleberately handled the ball in the box and the second Witheridge penalty was despatched along with Beechy for his second yellow card.
Wednesday night sees a rest from League football as we travel to Exmouth for the St Lukes Cup qaurter final ko is at 7.45pm.
