Saltash grabbed a late equaliser in Wednesday night’s friendly to share the spoils 2-2.
Rangers were really impressive in the first period and were deservedly in front 2-0 courtesy of goals from Danny Baily and Brandon Parsons. The second half saw a raft of changes for Rangers and just when they thought they were going to record a memorable victory the visitors grabbed an equaliser in the dying seconds.
Liam was really pleased with the run out and was able to look at some new faces “I thought we were excellent in the first half considering that this was our first friendly whereas Saltash already had a couple under their belts. We were missing Will Pinnick due to work commitments and Simon and Greeno who were both injured so we are going to have real competition for places when everyone is available.”
Next up is Alphington at home on Saturday with a 3pm ko.
