Severe damage was done to one of the outbuildings at Edenvale Park on Monday afternoon. A battery powered line marker ignited and resulted in both our line markers being totally destroyed as well as a bench with all sorts of tools etc on it. Junior goal posts and other kit were also ruined. Two fire engines were called to fight the blaze.
W now have to assess the cost of replacing all of the damaged equipment before submitting a claim to our insurance company.
