It was a bleak day for the Club on Saturday with both teams exiting from their respective Cup competitions to teams in a lower division.
The First team’s run of four wins came to an abrupt end at Stoke Gabriel where they went down 4-1 after taking the lead through Ollie Aplin. Rangers were outplayed in the second half and must now put that performance behind them as they prepare for next Saturday’s FA Vase game against Budleigh Salterton.
The Reserves lost by the only goal at Tedburn St Mary in what was a lack lustre performance. The only goal coming just ten minutes from the end. They will be on the road again on Saturday when they travel to Dawlish Utd. Looking at their fixture list it looks like they will not be playing their first home game until 15th October!!
