Rangers were back on the winning trail on Saturday when they overcame a useful Torpoint side 3-1. In what was a game of contrasting halves we moved into a 3-0 lead at half time with a superb display of flowing football and in all honesty the half time margin could have been greater if we had been more clinical in front of goal. But thanks to a brace from Rhys Parsons who stepped into the shoes of the now departed Jordan Harris and one from Danny Baily we had what looked like a comfortable cushion at half time. However the visitors had different ideas and came at us in the second half and Adam in goal needed to be at his best to ensure that we were not going to let a three goal lead slip and although Torpoint pulled one goal back we never looked like losing the game and earning a valuable 3 points which moved us up to 9th in the table and allowed us to leap frog our opponents.
