Rangers looked to be cruising to victory against Torrington despite having squandered a hatful of chances but then a lack of discipline from Greeno and Langers meant that we were reduced to 9 men and as a result we were unable to keep our two goal lead allowing the visitors to grab two late goals and a share of the spoils.
The first half was a one sided affair with Torrington not having a shot on target whereas we carried on with the same pattern as in recent weeks(Crediton apart) missing chance after chance, something that must be addressed. It was on the hour that Marcus Fanson finally broke the deadlock, we then lost Langers for a stupid comment to the referee. Ollie grabbed a second after Ethan’s shot had been blocked but then Greeno made a comment to a Torrington player which resulted in him having an early bath and the rest is history.
The Club have tried and tried to impress on players to keep their mouths shut and avoid dissent but we seem to be banging our heads against a brick wall. Players can rest assured that any further cases will be treated very seriously.
